APAR Foundation

Building Hope Where It’s Needed Most

APAR Foundation is a registered non-governmental organization based in Uganda, dedicated to transforming lives through practical, compassionate action in some of the most underserved communities. Founded on the belief that every child deserves nutrition, healthcare, and education, APAR focuses on these three essentials as the foundation for a dignified and hopeful future.

Since its inception, APAR Foundation has grown into a quietly powerful force for change—running mobile health clinics, conducting over 60 health camps that have reached roughly 1,25,000 people, and bringing professional healthcare to remote and hard-to-reach areas. Its teams offer free consultations, generic medicines, and on-the-spot health checks for urban slum dwellers and rural families who would otherwise struggle to access care.

Beyond health, APAR invests deeply in education and child welfare: supporting more than 50,000 children with scholastic materials, publishing open-air learning initiatives during the pandemic, running computer skills programs for girls, and distributing over 40,000 sanitary pads so that adolescent girls can stay in school with confidence. The foundation also tackles structural barriers to wellbeing by constructing at least 45 community boreholes to provide safe drinking water and reduce preventable illnesses such as dysentery. And have distributed 1.5 million meals in urban slums through weekly programs .
